Front of House Supervisor The following position is open in Loretto Kentucky, United States.This position will be based at the distillery which is approximately 20 miles south of Bardstown, KY. Maker’s Mark is seeking an ambitious, dynamic, and passionate group of restaurant professionals to lead its onsite culinary and restaurant team at Star Hill Provisions. With a true focus on timely and efficient steps of service, the ideal FOH manager should have a track record and love for service, local sustainability sourced ingredients, and the vision and drive to bring together all these elements to help build and maintain a dedicated, professional staff Role Responsibilities Set and track week to week scheduling for FOH in 7shifts Maintain a clean and controlled end of day report structure by ensuring open tickets are properly paid and closed out before end of shift Manage day to day sections by server and manage opening and closing side work duties for all FOH employees Respond and help execute pop-up/special requests from VIP clients and Trade groups Maintain open communication with Private Select members of MM distillery team to ensure PS group lunches are executed in a timely and professional manner Participate in Maker’s Mark marketing and outreach programs, which may include appearances, photo-shoots, etc. Source new vendors and products as needed Assume 100% responsibility for the quality of service and be customer facing for any and all customer complaints Attend all scheduled employee meetings and bring suggestions for improvement Execute service for both individuals and groups here at SHP; at Home Place; at Lakeside; and any and all other locations on site as requested Hire, train, and manage FOH team Maintain cleaning systems in the FOH Ensure an “A” rating, or comparable, from the Department of Health and/or Department of Agriculture Be a leader in all aspects of the business Champion Maker’s Mark and Star Hill Provisions Maintain a strong work ethic Build and maintain team morale Support Maker’s Mark corporate goals though other duties as needed Qualifications & Experience Must have high-end culinary experience with a focus on purposeful and efficient steps of service Strong communication skills and the ability to work with the executive team and employees under supervision Comfortable with high-level execution Ability to manage and motivate a team ServSafe certified Required Education and Experience Minimum of three years’ experience in high level culinary establishments At least 1 year in a managerial capacity Department of Health and Mental Hygiene- issued Food Protection Certificate At Beam Suntory, people are our number one priority, and we believe our people grow together in diverse and inclusive environments where their unique insights, experiences and backgrounds are valued and respected.
