Brasserie Provence is looking to hire a line cook to join our growing team. The cook will be helping prepare French cuisine and must have at least 1 year of cooking and food preparation experience. Competitive pay rate offered, and commensurable to experience. Responsibilities: Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items. Collaborate with the Chef and Cooks to cook during business hours and help prepare meals. Ensure that recipes and procedures are correctly followed. Keep food inventories. Keep work area clean. ability to multi task ability to learn all stations Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures (refrigerate if needed). Rotate stock items as per established procedures. Restock kitchen for subsequent shifts. Requirements: At least 1 year of cooking experience. Ability to follow Health Department Code and Procedures Knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine (French, Italian, Spanish) preferred. Passion for producing consistent high quality dishes.
