Tai Ji in the Gardens
Join us for Tai Ji at the Gardens!
Also written as ‘tai chi’, this low-impact, slow-motion exercise is often described as “meditation in motion.” Tai ji is a Chinese martial art that helps reinforce flexibility, balance, and coordination in all parts of the body. From the climate-controlled comfort of inside the Graeser Family Education Center, enjoy a sense of being outdoors in the Gardens with views out of the floor-to-ceiling windows.

Wear comfortable, loose clothing that will not restrict your range of motion. You may practice barefoot or in lightweight shoes with thin soles that allow you to feel the floor (running shoes are unsuitable).
Social distancing and face masks are required during the Tai Ji sessions.
