Shakespeare: The Icons

Shakespeare: The Icons invites audiences on a journey through the heart of Shakespeare's canon, featuring powerful performances by Marc McHone, Karole Spangler, Jordan Aikin, Joy Beth DeWitt-Riley, Jake Rosenberger, Laurel Henning, Brooke Spatol, Natalie Dispenza, Rayann Houghlin Walker, Evelyn Whiting, with a special appearance by Ebony Jordan. Adapted by Jake Rosenberger and Directed by Jill Marie Guelda.

We will be ICONIC scenes and monologues from beginnings, lovers, villains, women, fools, and endings. This innovative approach breathes new life into well-known characters and speeches, making them accessible and engaging for all—whether you’re a seasoned theatergoer or experiencing Shakespeare for the first time.

Running September 12, 13, 14, 19, 20, 21 at 7:30pm and September 15 and 22 at 2:30pm at Highview Arts Center (7406 Fegenbush Lane, Louisville, KY 40228).
