This event has already finished but is here for your information
June 18-24: Respect Themed Tours People who are blind and visually impaired are more than capable with the aid of special tools and training. Use our Discovery Tour Booklet and visit the Hall of Fame for Leaders and Legends in the Field of Blindness to find out about teachers, veterans, doctors, clergyman, and others who helped change the way society perceives the people served by APH. Get answers to questions youve always wanted to ask about how people who are blind accomplish daily living tasks, such as keeping track of money or telling the time.
Our daily drop-in factory tours at 10 am and 2 pm are free and can accommodate groups smaller than 10 people without notice. Other visits must be scheduled at least one week in advance by calling 502-899-2356 or emailing: firstname.lastname@example.org.
See a photo of Muhammad Ali and Stevie Wonder in the Museum at the American Printing House for the Blind. It is open for self-guided tours, Monday-Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, and on Saturdays from 10 am to 3 pm. For more information, visit http://www.aph.org/museum/visit
