The “Shindig” tradition invokes a social gathering that is both genteel and casual. The Julep Shindig brings together great Southern style food and Bourbon in a relaxed atmosphere. Because day drinking in seersucker is kinda fun, the 2018 Julep Shindig will be a brunchtime warm up for the day-at-the-races. Can you hear the ice being hand-chipped? Or the metal shaker being tossed? Can you smell the freshly-picked mint sprigs yet? Bartenders from across the country will be flown in to prepare some of the best Bourbon cocktails you have ever imbibed. The Bourbon Review Julep Shindig is an annual tradition featuring guest chefs & bartenders, for an authentic culinary & Bourbon experience. You’ll taste multiple cocktails, and dine on Southern cuisine while tapping your feet to live music with rolling hills that surround Keeneland as the backdrop. The founders of The Bourbon Review will be on hand to show you the best of the bourbon lifestyle. How’s that for a day-at-the-races in Kentucky? A sweet, sweet Bourbon Country!

THE DETAILS THIS PACKAGE INCLUDES: Three nights at the stately 21c Lexington (an award-winning boutique hotel). Offer is valid for two guests only. Two tickets to The Bourbon Review Shindig. Guests will indulge in the finest bourbon, cocktails, and traditional Southern fare. Take it all in on a picturesque Kentucky day at Keeneland Racetrack, while surrounded by the sounds of live music. All participants must be at least 21 years of age to attend. VIP tour of Coolmore's Ashford Stud horse farm, along with transportation and lunch. ACCOMMODATIONS: Rooms feature one king bed or two queen four-post beds with Tempur-Pedic mattresses and fine linens. All rooms are decorated with post-modern art, and feature all the amenities you could expect from a high end boutique hotel. Artwork from the region adorns the walls, and there is a thought-provoking public art museum on the second floor. Don’t forget to stop into Lockbox, the landmark restaurant by Executive Chef Jonathan Searle, located in the lobby of the 21c Lexington hotel. Modern bathrooms are spacious, well lit, and equipped with luxe bathrobes and European toiletries. Amenities include a flat-screen TV with cable channels, high-speed wireless Internet, air conditioning, and more.

MAKE YOUR PLANS: Upon arriving to the 21c Lexington, you will enjoy a cocktail reception to mingle with the other guests. On Friday, April 20, 2017, you will be picked up at the 21c Lexington for your exclusive bourbon & food pairings at Woodford Reserve Distillery, AND the private tour of Coolmore’s Ashford Stud horse-farm (lunch included). On Saturday, April 21st, 2017, you’ll be escorted to the 2018 Julep Shindig, followed by a VIP Clubhouse experience at Keeneland Racetrack. You will check in to the 21c Lexington on Thursday, April 19, 2017, and check out on Sunday, April 22, 2017. Please note: Taxes and event gratuities are included.
