Dream Within a Dream: A Journey with Edgar Allan Poe

“Dream Within A Dream: A Journey with Edgar Allan Poe” explores a number of works of the 19th century poet and author performed in the round aboard a two-and-a-half hour excursion. Poe’s haunting tales will be accompanied by Rhythm Science Sound, who will present a soundscape to complement the macabre mood and music specially created for the evening. The score creates an enchanting and moody backdrop to the evening. Some of the works performed include “The Bells,” “The Raven,” “The Pit and the Pendulum”, “The Mystery of Marie Roget” and a collection of poems.

These cruises aboard the Belle of Louisville are available on October 4, 5, 6 and 7, from 8 to 10:30 p.m. Boarding begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are $39.99 for adults, $37.99 for seniors and $18.99 for children ages 5 to 14. There will be a cash bar and concessions available through the cruise.
