Barrels of Heart
recurring eventA new non-profit, Bourbon with Heart, will present the exhibit, “Barrels of Heart,” at Frazier Kentucky History Museum in early 2023. The exhibit will feature twenty custom-painted bourbon barrels designed by local artists and will be sponsored by bourbon brands and local companies.
“We believe art, like a good glass of bourbon, brings people together and encourages self-expression,” said Morgan Hancock, founder and executive director of Bourbon with Heart. “This is a unique opportunity for local artists to get creative with one of our area’s staples - bourbon barrels.”
The museum exhibit will be open in February 2023 for eight weeks, with the chance for the public to vote for their favorite custom-painted barrel. The winning artist will be awarded a cash prize and a donation to the artist's favorite charity. The remaining proceeds will be divided among three area non-profits: I Would Rather Be Reading, Dream Center Academy, and Blanket Louisville.
