Evening hours are back at the Speed! On the third Friday of each month, the Museum will be open until 10 pm. Each After Hours event comes alive with an eclectic mix of music, performances, cash bar + food available by Wiltshire at the Speed, and of course art! Come experience the Speed after hours like you've never experienced it before.

March's exciting events include:

5 — 10 pm: Speed Art Museum Store Pop-Up Shop - Celebrate Kentucky as we debut merchandise based on pieces by Kentucky artists featured in our permanent collection. (Atrium)

5 — 7 pm: Family Programming Activity: All ages can enjoy building their own clocks in honor of our latest exhibit, #MakingTime. (Education Court)

6 & 8 pm: Speed Cinema screening of CatVideoFest 2019 at Speed Cinema (tickets sold separately)

6 pm: Tour of #MakingTime with Curator of Decorative Arts and Design Scott Erbes (Special Exhibition South)

7 pm: Director's Cut: Fabrication/Innovation: Museum director Stephen Reily in conversation with FirstBuild’s Larry Portaro and woodworker Billie Bradford-believe, following the "Making Time" tour. (Special Exhibition South)

8 pm: Music performance by folk duo Nathan Salsburg and Joan Shelley (Grand Hall)

9 pm: Performance by The Local Honeys (Grand Hall)
