“I’m a 40-something, Kentucky Proud native with a grown child and ready to start the next chapter of my life in Louisville.”
Describe Louisville’s spirit: Energetic, electric and vivacious.
Must-do Louisville experiences: I love all of the arts & crafts and food & music fests. Flea Off Market, Fleur de Flea, Poorcastle Festival, Bourbon & Beyond, Kentucky State Fair, Thunder, Derby, Balloon Glow, a visit to Louisville Stoneware, Louisville Slugger Museum and The Speed Art Museum. The list is endless!
Favorite local festivals and events to attend: Oops, I mentioned most of those in my last response! I also love the Mighty Kindness Hoot Fest, National Jug Band Jubilee, Waterfront Wednesdays and the Zombie Walk.
Go-to places to eat and drink: Impellizzeri’s, Troll Pub, Wagner's Pharmacy, Jack Fry’s and Come Back Inn.
What do you love most about Louisville? Wow, that’s tough. I love the people who make Louisville such an exciting, vibrant, welcoming and friendly, city! The city radiates a feeling that we can all live here and find our own little “niche,” our “tribe”, yet not feel excluded from one another. It’s got big city excitement with a perfect quaint, cozy charm that makes me know I’ve found my soulmate of a hometown.
