The 34-page feature in the June issue positions the area on a national and global scale as one of the best places to work, live and vacation.
US Airways Magazine is known for its editorial excellence and upscale readership with 5 million passengers reaching 50 states and 35 foreign countries and a measured readership of 2.7 million making it the third largest in-flight magazine.
Thanks to the enthusiasm and support of the local business community, the feature showcases what makes the region one of the foremost places to visit, live, work and prosper.
Get Into the Games!
The 2007 Summer National Senior Games - The Senior Olympics presented by Humana will take place this summer June 22 - July 7. Louisville will host nearly 12,000 senior athletes and 15,000-20,000 spectators. The athletes will compete in 18 different sports in over 800 events contested over 16 days. Approximately 4,000 volunteers are needed to make this event successful. Volunteers are needed to assist with several specific sports, such as: horseshoes, basketball, swimming, track & field, volleyball and shuffleboard. Training will be provided, so no experience is necessary. Plus, help is needed with setup and teardown for all sports.
