  • Marketing Communications team will help staff the 2007 Summer National Senior Games - The Senior Olympics presented by Humana Media Tent through July 7.

  • As part of the CVB's annual summer leisure push to the regional market, two different :30 television commercials have been running in the Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Nashville, Lexington and Evansville markets. To coincide with the ad campaign, the CVB has worked to secure live interview segments as well on morning and noon news programs. In recent weeks, Stacey Yates has appeared on stations in those markets, including WTVF, WUXP, WEHT, WLEX and is scheduled for June 28 on WTHR in Indianapolis.  While the segments are brief, she has tried to cover the majority of events, major attractions and exhibits happening in the city this summer.

  • Tuesday, August 7, the CVB will roll-out its two year marketing plan, providing in-depth information about the Bureau’s sales efforts for both convention and leisure travelers. The morning event will include a choice of two breakout sessions - the Community Branding Project and the Trends Analysis & Projections (TAP) Report. To reserve your seat, watch your mail for a registration form or contact Angela Weisser at (502) 560-0013 or aweisser@gotolouisville.com.
