January 7, the Bureau will host a pre-con meeting for the Pumper & Cleaner Environmental Expo that will be held at KEC, February 27-March 1.

January 13-16, Jim Wood, Karen Williams, Mark Barnes and Casey Allen will attend the PCMA (Professional Conference Management Association) in Seattle.

January 13, Joyce Howlett and Rita Edmonds will attend a pre-con meeting for the IMI Conference (Installation Management Institute) that begins at KICC on Sunday. The conference will generate 9,318 total room nights and an economic impact of nearly $4 million.
Tourism Development

Dineene Bradley will host a site visit with MaNobu More, Center for International Exchange of Tokyo. He is bringing 200 Japanese visitors to Louisville in October as part of the 18th Japan-American Grassroots Summit.

January 7-9, Kate Amara will attend the Tennessee Motorcoach Association's 12th annual convention in Memphis, Tenn. Kate will meet one-on-one with motorcoach company operators and owners who are in charge of planning group travel to Louisville. The Bureau is also a sponsor of the refreshment breaks during this year's event. Other Louisville CVB partners attending the convention include Carol McMasters from The Galt House Hotel and Suites, Cindy Nevitt from Derby Dinner Playhouse and Stacy Zehnder from the Harrison County Indiana Convention and Visitors Bureau.
