4 Day/3 Night

 

Day One

Afternoon

  • Louisville Slugger Field: Tour the dugout and experience AAA baseball at it’s finest with the Louisville Bats. See the locker room or sit in the announcer’s box. Enjoy a behind the scenes tour before taking a seat to watch the game. The Bats often times have many different theme nights so there are many sights and sounds to entertain.
  • Check in to Louisville Accommodations
  • Louisville Slugger Field: Hot Dogs, Peanuts and Cracker Jacks! Throw in some chicken strips or a steak sandwich too! Your group can make their own choices to add to the ballpark atmosphere!
  • Overnight at Hotel

 

Day Two

Morning

  • Breakfast at Hotel
  • Kentucky Derby Museum/Churchill Downs: Experience Derby Day from the starting gate to the finish line. The Kentucky Derby Museum brings the pageantry and excitement of the Kentucky Derby to life. Feel the excitement of the crowds and hear the thunder of the hoofs with a presentation of “The Greatest Race.”
  • $25 pp. (one price per person for Churchill Downs and Kentucky Derby Museum.
  • Slugger Museum & Factory: How do they get that world famous bat out of a 40 ft. tree?   Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory has just the answer. Learn how the world famous Louisville Slugger is made and why major league players will only play with the best. Factory & Museum tours will have your group ready for the big leagues. What is the most popular wood used for making the Louisville Slugger?  White ash grown on 5000 acres of company-owned forest in Pennsylvania and New York.
  • Lunch cruise on the Belle of Louisville: Enjoy a scrumptious lunch on a treasured National Historic Landmark. The Belle is over 90 years old and is the oldest operating steamboat in the nation.

Afternoon

  • Muhammad Ali Center: The Muhammad Ali Center serves as both a cultural attraction and international education center that is inspired by the ideals of its founder, Muhammad Ali. The Ali Center’s innovative and immersive visitor experience, public and educational programming, and global initiatives carry on Muhammad’s legacy and continue his life’s work. Two-and-a-half levels of interactive exhibits and captivating multimedia presentations introduce Ali’s epic life. The entrance to this wonderful facility offers a large open space for your group to perform. The outdoor raised “amphitheater” can hold larger groups.
  • Frazier History Museum: Take an unforgettable journey through history that spans 1,000 years and 2 continents with one of the greatest collection of arms, armor and related historical artifacts in the world. The Frazier features a collection of arms and armor of famous politicians, celebrities, frontiersmen, soldiers, knights and kings. Groups enjoy guided tours, sword fighting demonstrations and first-person costumed historical interpretations.

Evening

  • Kingpin Lanes: Become the King or Queen of the night in a fun round of bowling. Rock n’ roll bowl or have a night of glow bowling, a little bit for everyone. If bowling is not your forte, visit the arcade where you can drive a race car, shoot some hoops, or save the world. Have dinner with the King and enjoy a variety on the menu, not just your ordinary bowling alley food with items such as loaded thick potato chips, chicken quesadilla, and top it all off with an ice cream sundae!

Day Three

Morning

  • Kart Kountry: Have a need for Speed? Drive the “Thunder Bolt”, the fastest go-cart offered (must be 16 with valid driver’s license), or for the slower folks drive the Adult Kart/Junior Kart around the world’s longest go-kart track!  Play miniature golf for a more relaxing day, shoot a view hoops in the arcade, or swing in the batting cage. Engage your competitive side on the bumper boats (open Memorial Day-Labor Day) to show ‘em what you’re made of! 
  • Mark’s Feed Store: Satiate your taste buds with pulled BBQ sandwiches, ribs, onion straws, and finish with a slice of one of-a-kind buttermilk pie! Used until 1988 as a real feed store, its’ rustic feel makes you enjoy true Kentucky cookin’. Voted Best of Louisville for ribs and BBQ for 7 years.
  • Evening
  • Dinner at Derby Dinner Playhouse: Before the show starts, the fun begins with your group actually performing as the opening act for the seasoned actors then sit back, relax, and enjoy dinner and a show as Derby Dinner Playhouse puts on a professional Broadway-style production of comedy, music or mystery with a delicious Southern buffet-style dinner.

Day Four                                                                      

Morning

  • Breakfast at Lynn’s Paradise Café: Start your day off right at one of the four most fun restaurants in America, according to Esquire magazine!! Lynn’s is always warm and welcoming with an eclectic menu and motif to match!
