MAMMOTH CAVE NATIONAL PARK:

  • Mammoth Cave is the longest recorded cave system in the world with more than 360 miles explored and mapped. Choose from a wide variety of cave tours, or spend the day backpacking, birding, boating, fishing, horseback riding or enjoying one of nature’s most beautiful walks.

MAMMOTH CAVE WILDLIFE MUSEUM:

  • You don’t have to travel to Africa, India or a big city zoo to see some of the most rare animals on the face of the earth. The Mammoth Cave Wildlife Museum is home to a Snow Leopard, one of the most rare cats in the world. Along with the leopard, the museum also houses tigers, lions, bears, and a huge selection of marine life, insects and birds.

KENTUCKY DOWN UNDER:

  • Kentucky’s own Australian themed animal park, Kentucky Down Under invites visitors to participate in various activities including hands on contact with Australian animals. Hand-feed colorful lories in a walk-in flight cage or try your hand at setting up sheep in the shearing position or practice throwing a boomerang.
