  • Kentucky Derby Museum – Experience Derby Day from the starting gate to the finish line. The Kentucky Derby Museum brings the pageantry and excitement of the Kentucky Derby to life. Feel the excitement of the crowds and hear the thunder of the hoofs with a presentation of “The Greatest Race.”
  • Jim Beam’s American Outpost – Visit the world’s largest bourbon distiller. Learn all about Jim Beam Bourbon and Beam family heritage at the American Outpost. Tours provide insight into the centuries-old art of distilling and the legacy of Jim Beam Bourbon. Sample a selection of the hand-crafted smallbatch bourbons. Free admission

  • Lunch at The Kentucky Railway Museum – Bells, lights and steam whistles abound at Kentucky’s official railway museum. Take a ride through the scenic Rolling Fork River Valley and dine on a 1940’s vintage dining car.
  • Heaven Hill Bourbon Heritage Center – See the rickhouses where the world’s second largest supply of bourbon ages, hear the stories of whiskey making pioneers Evan Williams and Elijah Craig and sample the fine bourbon in a unique barrel shaped tasting room. You can even create your own personalized bottle to take home!
  • Maker’s Mark – Tour the nation’s oldest working distillery at Maker’s Mark. Established in 1805 as a gristmill/distillery, Maker’s is one of the smallest distilleries and proudly proclaimsthat its bourbon is hand made at every step. Visitors get to handdip their own bottle of Maker’s Mark in warm red wax when making a purchase in the gift shop. Free admission.

See the original single barrel production of bourbon, enjoy a taste of Buffalo Trace Bourbon and take a trip through the gift shop. Free admission

  • Dinner at Claudia Sanders Dinner House – Named for Col. Sanders’ wife, specialties include fried chicken, country ham and eight famous vegetables. Located at the former home and headquarters of Claudia and Col. Harland Sanders. True Kentucky cooking.

  • Schimpff’s Confectionery – Schimpff’s is a sweet visit to the past. See fine hand-made candies produced with turn-ofthe- century equipment. Free admission
