PATTON MUSEUM OF CALVARY & ARMOR:Patton

  • This museum is one of the largest museums in the U.S. Army system. Many personal effects of General George Patton are displayed along with American and foreign armored fighting vehicles, uniforms and weapons.

WEST POINT:

  • Located just minutes from Fort Knox, West Point is one of Kentucky’s oldest cities and is rich with Civil War history. It is here you can visit Fort Duffield, an earthen fort built by Union soldiers in 1861. The Bridges to the Past is a 1-mile walk, along the old L & N Turnpike, that includes three pre-Civil War stone bridges.

OTTER CREEK PARK:

  • Enjoy a panoramic view of the Ohio River, along with 15 miles of hiking trails, mountain biking, spelunking, rappelling or stream fishing.
