Day One

- Derby Dinner Playhouse – Sit back, relax and enjoy dinner and a show as Derby Dinner Playhouse puts on a professional Broadway-style production of comedy, music or mystery with a delicious Southern buffet-style dinner.

- Glassworks – Enjoy the country’s first complete center dedicated to the art of glass. Watch glassblowers, flameworkers, cutters and designers create magnificent pieces of art in an openair atmosphere.
- Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory – Tour the world-famous bat factory. Admire the world’s largest baseball bat before going inside to see how Louisville Sluggers are made. Have an allstar experience by swinging a bat just like Babe Ruth’s, facing down a 90-mph fastball and sharing a dugout with Mickey Mantle.
- Louisville Stoneware – Discover the history of pottery and paint your own piece of art. Louisville Stoneware is a tradition that has been preserved since 1879 and is one of the United States’ oldest producers of handmade and hand-painted stoneware.

- Lunch at Lynn’s Paradise Cafe – Take a break with lunch at one of the four most fun restaurants in America, according to Esquire magazine!! Lynn’s is always warm and welcoming with an eclectic menu and motif to match!
- The American Printing House for the Blind – Founded in 1858, APH is the oldest institution in the United States devoted solely to creating products for the visually
impaired. See how Braille inventions have progressed with publications of recorded books and special demonstrations such as the history of talking books. Free admission
- Flame Run – Stand in awe as artisans work. Watch as molten glass transforms into breathtaking works of art in the region’s largest glassblowing studio.

- Dinner at Claudia Sanders Dinner House – Named for Col. Sanders’ wife, specialties include fried chicken, country ham and eight famous vegetables. Located at the former home and headquarters of Claudia and Col. Harland Sanders. True Kentucky cooking.

- Kentucky Bourbon Trail – Choose two of the seven historic distilleries along the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. Distilleries included are Jim Beam, Heaven Hill, Maker’s Mark, Buffalo Trace, Wild Turkey, Woodford Reserve and Four Roses. See the art of bourbon-making being practiced much as it was 200 years ago. Visit the producers of “America’s ONLY Native Spirit” and experience for yourself the magic and science of the Master Distiller’s craft.

- Lunch at Hubers Family Farm & Restaurant – “Real food” is waiting for you in the country at Joe Hubers! You won’t find food freshly prepared like it is here… except maybe at your mother’s or grandmother’s table. Menu includes fried chicken, honey ham, chicken and dumplings and more. Everything is made fresh, from scratch!
- Huber’s Winery – Learn the true art of wine making with a trip to the country at Huber Orchard & Winery. Tour the underground wine cellar and see the most modern equipment used to make Huber’s magnificent vintages. Also, find the perfect snack to compliment your Huber wine at the cheese factory and ice cream shoppe.
- Forest Discovery Center – Discover the wonders of wood and the indoor forest. Take in the beauty of woodworking at this three-story educational facility showcasing the wonders of wood and the importance of good forest management. The tour features a walk through the indoor forest and a visit to the marquetry workshop.

- Dinner cruise onboard the historic Belle of Louisville – Enjoy a scrumptious dinner on a treasured National Historic Landmark. The Belle is over 90 years old and is the oldest operating steamboat in the nation.
