THE VOTING PROCESS
ROSE Award voting will begin Monday, October 3 at 12:01 a.m, and will close on Friday, October 28 at midnight. Once a nominee has been approved for consideration, his or her name will appear on the official ROSE Awards Web site and we highly encourage you to get the word out to vote for your nominee. The number of votes is taken into account when the judging and selection process takes place, although, as described below, this isn’t the only consideration.
To take part in the voting process, visit www.louisville roseawards.com, click on the “Vote” tab (which will be available on September 30th), click on one of the six categories for which you’d like to vote, and then click on company name/person to review their nomination submission. After choosing your candidate, simply click the “Submit” button.
THE JUDGING AND SELECTION PROCESS
After the public and hospitality-industry members cast their votes, a winner will be chosen in each of the six categories: attractions and casinos, behind the scenes, hotels, restaurants, transportation and volunteers.
The ROSE Awards judging criteria include commitment to excellent customer service, knowledge of the city and region, communication skills, ability to handle problems effectively, attitude and workplace knowledge, and lasting impressions.
The panel of judges will base the decision of who wins the ROSE Award on the criteria listed above and the number of votes a nominee receives.
