Published fresh each April and October, this guide is the most recognized visitor publication in the area. Visitors may request a Guide at 1-888-LOUISVILLE, download a PDF at www.gotolouisville.com or pick-up one at the Visitors Center in downtown Louisville. In addition, the Guide is distributed at the airport and area hotels and to conventions and tradeshows delegates. Partners are listed free of charge in their respective categories.

More than 160,000 copies are distributed to convention delegates and tourists through the Visitor Information Center and the Bureau’s website and call center each year. The Guide is a valuable marketing piece that helps visitors make the most out of their experience in Louisville.

Our newly redesigned website introduces visitors, tour operators, and meeting planners to the best Louisville has to offer in an easy-to-use format rich with photos and videos. Partners are listed with a description and an individual link in their respective category. Partners can easily update their own information at anytime.

Convention Calendar

Updated instantaneously via the Partner Extranet, partners can access information about upcoming conventions, meetings and tradeshows being held next month or 10 years down the road. Calendar listings include the names and addresses of key contacts, so you can include them in your direct marketing efforts.

Visitors Center

Only Bureau Partners may display promotional brochures and literature in our Visitors Center. Each year, thousands of people visit or contact these centers to obtain information about Louisville and area businesses. Having your materials on hand will put your business at the front lines of our response to these inquiries.

A partner newsletter as well as a weekly e-newsletter, Bureau Brief keeps partners informed about business enrichment activities, upcoming conventions, and industry trends.

Partnership Directory Listing

The semi-annual directory lists all current Partners categorically by products and/or services for easy reference. It is distributed to meeting planners nationwide, to assist them in locating products and services for events they are planning Louisville. The Directory is also provided to all Partners and serves as an excellent resource for establishing partner-to-partner business relationships.

Referrals and Leads

Partnership generates leads for your business with industry contacts who want to learn more about Louisville’s products and services. When meeting and convention planners, tour operators, travel writers or visitors are in search of a particular service, Partners are always our first referrals.
