Official Louisville Visitors Guide
Published in April and October, this guide is the most recognized visitor publication in the area, and the primary response piece to requests for information about the Louisville area. More than 160,000 copies are distributed to convention delegates and tourists through the Visitor Information Center and the Bureau’s website and call center. The Guide is a valuable source that helps visitors make the most out of their experience. Members are listed free of charge in their respective categories.

Website listing on gotolouisville.com
State-of-the-art website featuring the best Louisville has to offer, in an easy-to-use format for visitors, tour operators and meeting planners. Each partner has a separate listing and link on the website, and members can update their own information, anytime.

Convention Calendar
Published twice a year, this is the definitive guide to upcoming conventions, meetings and trade shows. The Calendar listings include the names and addresses of key contacts, so you can include them in your direct marketing efforts.

Visitor Information Center
Only Bureau members may display promotional brochures and literature in our Visitor Center. Each year, thousands of people visit or contact these centers to obtain information about Louisville and area businesses.

Communications & Information
A monthly newsletter as well as a weekly e-newsletter, Bureau Brief keeps members informed about Bureau activities, upcoming conventions, and industry trends.

Advertising Opportunities
Partners are listed in publications distributed to convention attendees, meeting planners, tour operators, travel writers, travel agents and visitors. As a partner of the Bureau, you are provided with exclusive opportunities to advertise in Bureau publications, which allows you to promote your business cooperatively with others, greatly reducing advertising costs. For additional information contact Joanie Allgeier at 502-560-1469 or email at jallgeier@gotolouisville.com.

Educational Programs
Members have the opportunity to participate and become involved in our outstanding and interactive education courses such as our Hospitality Louisville customer service training program and Taxi Cab University.

Membership Directory Listing
The semi-annual directory lists all Bureau members categorically by their products and/or services. It is distributed to meeting planners nationwide, to assist them in locating products and services for their meetings. The Directory is also provided to all Bureau members and serves as an excellent resource for establishing member-to-member business relationships.

Referrals and Leads
The Bureau first recommends its members when a particular product or service is sought by meeting and convention planners, tour operators, travel writers or visitors. The convention and tourism departments may generate leads for your business through industry contacts who want to learn more about Louisville’s products and services.

Access to Image Library
Utilize the Bureau’s comprehensive photo library of digital photographs for use at no charge to use in brochures and other promotional materials.* * Photos cannot be used if promoting for profit.

Member-to-Member Networking Activities
Numerous social events provide opportunities to network with other members, learn valuable marketing skills to increase business, and stay abreast of the current industry issues.
