A key to your attendance is the promotion of the event and the host city. In addition to providing your delegates with pre-printed information on Louisville, you may need to prepare a presentation for your board of directors or information for your organization's newsletter or other publications.
The communications staff at the Bureau will provide you with hi-resolution digital photographs, and video footage for use in promoting the city and its attractions, facilities and events. We'll also help you plan media coverage and get your word out locally. News release worksheets are provided in the Convention Services packet and will be mailed to you two months prior to your meeting. These forms help us get the information we need to prepare a news release on your meeting for the local and other selected media. News release worksheets must be returned to the Bureau communications staff no later than one month prior to the date of your convention.
If you'd like to contact the media directly, we will provide you with a complete listing of media contact names, addresses and telephone numbers for the Greater Louisville area.
Media receives our annual convention calendars and updates to the publication each month. The local media use these listings as part of their coverage of local business news and special events. View our photogallery now for images of the Louisville area.
